When the knife round was won by NiP, it seemed like a death sentence for dignitas, who couldn't get into the match for more than a round in a row. Then René "cajunb" Borg picked two people off guard to help his team win their second round, although a two-versus-three by Lindberg and Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson turned it back around for an eventual 12-2.
In the last round of the half it was dignitas who were able to survive a one-versus-one against Johansson, but Lindberg's triple beat Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth's four kills in the pistol, at which point the match was almost over.
Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund took a good round for himself for 15-3 and with dignitas on a desperate buy, the match was over in the following round at 16-3.
