Coldfrag out with tie vs Alternate

A victory against Evil Geniuses did not do Coldfrag any good, as they went to tie against Alternate, disallowing them to the playoffs.

Alternate had no chances of advancing to the playoffs, but that did not stop them in playing a great match against Coldfrag. Coldfrag had chances for advancement to the playoffs, but a victory against Alternate was needed. The Swedes started out the best, taking a 9-6 CT side on inferno. When Alternate got to defend, the switch was flipped and the German took momentum. It was an even second half, where Alternate with some key moments, took the match to a tie, ruining Coldfrag’s chances of advancement.

In Group B, UNiTED went to crush mTw, even after the Danes got 7 rounds as T on train. The Russian/Kazakh-mixture went for a 21-9 win on train, claiming top spot of Group B. Defeating KerchNET, Evil Geniuses claim top spot of Group A, while the Ukrainians will have to do with second place.



This means that Evil Geniuses and mTw will face each other in the first round of the playoffs, while UNiTED will play KerchNET. Groups C and D will be entering the tournament tomorrow at 12:00CET, up next will be the All-Star matches, scheduled to start between 16:30CET and 17:00CET.
